The Beauty of the Rain
You may notice the huge music player I placed at the top of the blog. Since it's the rainy season here in Ketchikan, I wanted to write a tribute about the rain, but I realized the music tells a much better story than I could. Let me know what your favorite "rainy" songs are.--Liz

I really like the first one by Dar Williams.
I have also always liked "Rainy Days and Mondays", except that contrary to the song, I really like rainy days as well as Mondays.
Go figure.
I never knew there were so many songs about rain.

How about I wish it would rain down by either Phil Collins or genesis. Lillie also mentioned a song called Ballet by Narada Equinox it doesn't have rain in the title but it makes us think of a rainy day (it's an instrumental) You had some really great songs, I will probably spend the next few days thinking of every song I have ever heard that even remotely has anything to do with rain.
Actually, I don't have a choice. I have enjoyed listening to the bunch while I did a hard 1920 California census index. It was faint and poorly written.
The music helped me relax during the frustrating portions.
Thanks

I can See Clearly Now, Fire and Rain and Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain, and then Peter Paul and Mary of course. I liked your selection.
Listen to the rythm of the falling rain, Blame It on the Rain, I'm no stranger to the Rain. My mind has been wandering on this topic for two days and I have been reminded of many wonderful songs, Thanks Liz -- Drew
How about "I Hear the Rain" and "It's Gonna Rain". Both by the Violent Femmes.
