Autumn Swim -- And Poor Chet's Toe

AUTUMN SWIM — A harbor seal swims among raindrops through the leaves of autumn in Ketchikan Creek Thursday. Staff photo by Hall Anderson

Nothing much different happening here except Chet broke his little toe. It was caught on something when he stubbed it and it was sticking out perpendicular to his other toes (Ouch). He put it back in place and he went to general priesthood meeting with Nat (Nat's first), and then he taught a cub scout leader training session for a few hours. Needless to say, it was quite swollen and painful when he got home. I've even had him popping Aleve. And you all know how hard it is to get Chet to take any medication. This morning the swelling had come down some, but it still clicks when he tries to move it. Of course, he went to work, but he promised to come home if became to painful.

Nat and Becca are settled in to school, and seem to be doing well. I'll have to post their pictures when we get them. We enjoyed general conference. We watched it on the internet. What a blessing that is.

We love and miss you all.--Liz

Glad to hear you got to listen. Hope the kids are enjoying school. Becca was always good at finding friends. How is Nate doing?
And, what is Liz doing with herself?

We are still trying to put together a visit to you. Chet said not to come during SEPTOBER. So we will see.

Nat is doing fine. We are all catching and dealing with colds. I have a toothache, but can't get in to a dentist for 2 weeks, that's what I get for putting it off.--Liz
