READY FOR CELEBRATION


READY FOR CELEBRATION — More than 100 members of the Cape Fox tribe who plan to attend the biennial Celebration in Juneau this year gathered for a group portrait recently at the Saxman Tribal House. Some of the families represented in the photograph are the Guthrie family, represented by Dorothy Utterburg's descendants; the Majors family, Elizabeth Denny and her descendants, Joe Williams Sr. family descendants, descendants of Alvina Martinez and the Shields family, Cecilia White's descendants, descendants of the DeWitt family, descendants of the Trout family and descendants of Martin Perez Sr. Members of other Ketchikan dance groups, as well as groups from outside areas are represented in the photo.
