Silverking Lodge

This is a picture of the Silverking Fishing Lodge where Nat and Chet will be attending the middle school campout next week. I know, really looks rough doesn't it.

We are the walking wounded and sickly around here. We have all gone the rounds with some kind of nasty flu bug/cold thing. Last week Becca missed a day, and today Nat is staying home sick from school. Chet was really sick last week, even throwing up at work. Of course I've been sick too. Chet thinks he has a hernia, but refuses to even get it checked out until after scout camp at the end of June. What a great idea!-NOT. But that's Chet. Of course he didn't even take a sick day last week.

The last day of school for the kids is June 3rd. Nat has the 6th, 7th, & 8th grade camp next week. They have asked Chet to attend also. He is going to teach classes on building shelters and starting fires. I guess Becca and I will have some quality mother/daughter time, but I'm putting my foot down on any makeovers!

I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with the kids over the summer. That's the only thing that makes me want to live closer to town. That way I wouldn't have to drive them to town for everything. We live where we don't have to deal with all of the tourists. Downtown is incredibly busy this time of year. We are trying to get used to all the sunlight. Its hard to keep regular bedtimes when it is still very light outside.--Liz
