Each morning the one of the local radio stations has a contest called the "Polka Music Challenge" where a song is played with an accordian. The first person to call in and identify the song wins a pair of fuzzy dice and a gift certificate to a local coffee shop. The song was "Photograph" by Ringo Starr. I hope they will let me get hot chocolate with my gift certificate instead of a double latte of double mocha.
Apparently "earning" you fuzzy dice is a right of passage here is Ketchikan. Quite a few people have made comments to the effect of "Your one of us now". I can see about ten pair of dice while sitting at my desk.

Congratulations! It is always fun to win stuff on the radio (not that I've done it, but Karl has). See if they have an Italian Ice at the coffee shop, those are really good, but then it may be a little cold for one.
Good job!
Chris used to win stuff off the radio sometimes. He was on a first name basis with the DJs.
He won car speakers, an overnight stay in Mesquite and $1800 off a used car. We cashed in on the first 2. Not the third.
Way to go. Carrie is right about Italian Ice. Italian Sodas are great too.
It sounds like you are getting more and more at home there.
I have a friend from VA Beach City that grew up in Ketchikan and is coming up for a visit this summer. I gave her your blog address.
I'm jealous that she gets to go up for a visit.
