The Homework Club
Our kids started a new (for them) after school activity yesterday. It's called the Homework Club, and what it is, is that the kids stay an extra hour at school, and do their homework. There is a teacher there to help them and they get snacks, so they're happy about it. They catch the bus that the Arts & Sciences School kids take home. They get home an hour later than usual, but they have their homework done (for the most part), and ready to check when Dad gets home. Its a great thing for the school to do, and it saves on a bunch of wailing and gnashing of teeth here.

I wish they had that here it would save me a ton of time and fights.
My kids have that here and I LOVE it too! Homework was one of the most frustrating times of day at my house until they started offering this about a month ago. Every school should offer it, especially when your kids start bringing homework home that you have no earthly clue on how to help them with it! Did we do Algebra in 5th grade?! I dont think so! Love all your pics by the way.
