Back to School

The kids started back to school yesterday. Which made yesterday kind of crazy, with homework and chores that went undone during Christmas break. For those of you Chet didn't call and tell, one of Chet's friends at work gave us a 1993 Ford Explorer. It needs a new transmission--Chet hasn't decided whether he'll have to time to replace it himself, or if he'll have a mechanic do it. My humble opinion is, since he has a bunch of scouting stuff to do, as well as Church things, and work--pay the extra money and have a mechanic do it. Besides that will put a warranty on the work. The weather pattern here is snow-rain, snow-rain. The kids had their first taste of halibut the other day. It has a hit, and they absolutely love any salmon that we get. Can't wait till we can go fishing and catch the fish ourselves.--Liz

That is great about the car. I hope it works out. I'm envious of the fresh fish.
