Holy Snowstorm, Batman

The kids had a snow day today, much to my dismay. It wasn't suppossed to snow this much this early in the winter. The people at Chet's work says it never snows like this. Hopefully, the school busses will be able to run tomorrow, or I might have to commit kidicide. The snow keeps falling off the trees in clumps onto my roof---it sounds like Santa's reindeer on my house. We had to buy chains for the van, it was cheaper than studded tires--like $600 cheaper. Works for me. Christmas break officially starts Monday, but its supposed to snow all week, so we'll see. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
The railing here is a 2x6, I do not think the snow on top could get any higher.

Ohhh--for a story on KPU--where Chet works go to www.sitnews.com . They also have humorous stories about Ketchikan and Alaska like this one about our sports fields Ball Field Story.
