This weekend Nat and I went on a scout camp out. Nat, Shawn, the scoutmaster Bro. Inman and I were the only attendees. We had an enjoyable evening and a good night sleep as the tent had a wood burning stove. Here are some pictures from the hike the next morning.
A waterfall picture taken from a bridge.
Nat and Shawn at a river overlook.
The scoutmaster Bro Inman. It may not look like it but it can be dangerous to leave the trail.
Nat by a huge tree the branches were to high for me to know the species but I think it was a cedar by the bark.. I wonder what events in history this tree has been around for and how big will it grow to be?
The water here looks to be 3-6 inches deep but my walking stick easily pushed in 4 feet. There are a lot of muskeg bogs, not all are obvious.
Nat and I, standing on the coast overlooking the ocean. This spot would be underwater at high tide. It was a good experience for Nat and I can see the benefit of having a stove in your tent in this climate. Thank you Bro. Inman.

I hadn't read your blog lately, and was delighted to find the pictures of the scout outing, and halloween. Good to see the pictures and to know you are settling in. We love you. Randy was pleased to hear of the core knowledge school. Mom
