Halloween

Our first month in Ketchikan (half month since we arrived on the 15) is now over and the rain total for the month was 32.51 inches.

Halloween was a lot of fun for the kids. We started just after 5:00 on Jackson Street which is closed off to all vehicle traffic for trick or treaters. Nat and Becca each received a Grocery bag full of candy by 6:00. We then walked to the Church for the Ward Party where the kids each received an second bag of candy. Liz and I also enjoyed the ward party, I participated in a chocolate donut eating contest (they did not tell us that the donuts were frozen). Liz enjoyed meeting and talking with the other members of the ward.
