We are now in Bellingham WA waiting for the ferry tomorrow at 5:00 pm, But let's start at the beginning.
Day 1
Sunday evening after our goodbye dinner we drove 156 miles to Weston ID where we spent the night with Liz's mother.
Day 2
Monday with Rebecca and I in the Penske Truck and Nat and Liz in the Mini-van we drove 261 miles to Meridian ID, we were hoping for Hermiston OR but Liz had traveled as much as she could that day.
Day 3
Tuesday Nat and Becca traded vehicles and we drove 296 miles to the home of my cousin Quentin Graham. We enjoyed talking with his wife but he had to work so we only talked to him on the phone. He offered to let us stay but as Liz was feeling OK so we felt a need to get more miles behind us. We ended up driving an additional 107 Miles to Yakima WA.
Day 4
Wednesday Nat and Becca traded vehicles again and we drove 146 miles to the Alaska Marine Lines office in Seattle WA. Once there with help from Nat Becca and Liz, I Unloaded what turned out to be more than 10,000 pounds of household goods into a Cargo container (I am still sore). We then drove 38 miles to Monroe WA.
Day 5
After the long day on Wednesday we got a late start and once again Nat and Becca traded places and we drove 16 Miles to Everett WA where we returned the Penske Truck. We then continued with all of us in the Mini-van 62 miles to Bellingham WA.
That brings us up to date, Next post should be from Ketchikan Alaska.
